...being some chronicles relating to what I do for money in this world...
making work out of nothing at all once again (all together now?) it would really be so nice (wouldn't it?) if all the pieces would actually fall into place and actually fit for once... sigh J ok, so when we last left off we were on hold due to the paperwork lost in Toronto and my procrastinating about getting duplicate paperwork because it's such a pain in so many ways... but however reluctantly, I am doing it... sigh... the people at the courts in NY finally found the express mail envelopes I sent last week and as an apology for misplacing them and delaying the overnight process by a week (and probably to try to keep me quiet), they sent a second certified copy of my paperwork for free... a heart beats in Brooklyn... but then... I am no longer staying at the place it's addressed to, so I call the post office and they agree to hold it for my pick up... and so I do (pick up) and run the paperwork over to the job where the personnel person is out for the day at meetings offsite and so it'll wait yet another day... I do, on the bright side, pick up my first check and it's not too bad for seven days, but I've certainly come an awfully long way from my previous earning power... alas... rebuilding will come in it's own time... still again, me and the bank made friends again and I covered some bills and even though I lost a week of work (at least a week), I still survived once again with a little help from my friends and the outlook for next week is promising... keeping hope alive so the smiles can flow, ya know and it's still going...
