losing interest, are we?... well, I don't know about you, but I sure am...

that's not good, huh?... like I'm not gonna get too far in this world asking you to care about me more than I care about me, am I?... apathy is a killer, almost as bad as self-pity... remember that (yeah, like it's new news to me)...

definitely cynical today, at least...

so the personal person from the residential facility job got back from her emergency and the phone company fixed the phone again and the job is mine... second choice of shifts, someone in-house chose the night shift I'd rather have had... so no more weekends off for me as long as I keep this job... 7AM-11PM Sat and Sun, 32 hours and I can pick up a shift during the week for the 40 hours if I'd like... I can probably, she said, pick up overtime as well...

we shall see...

need a cell phone now more than ever if I'm going to depend on them calling me for extra shifts and I don't have a stable phone or residence... that's the downer keeping me blah... the phone voice mail has been working for a whole day after breaking down three times in the past two weeks since setting it up... so I'm not confident I can depend on it... definitely time for a cell phone.. decision is, which service... who to trust for a year contract and what can I afford with just the one job?... not much... but communication is pretty essential to continue surviving in this culture at the moment... wonder if any farmers are hiring... send alternatives... enlightenment?... positivity?... grumbles and all that too...

in any case, the job search continues...
