A Journal of Sorts

"to die unsung would really bring you down
although wet eyes would never suit you
walk through no archetypal suicide
die young is far too boring these days"

shouldn't there be a limit on the number of "why me?" moments one life can have?... I mean, other people just might get jealous if I get them all...

yeah, so... the post office says they delivered the package to a "Clark" at the right address at the Court... I found this out after calling the post office back for the fourth time... the first time I just got automated info, date and time of delivery but no name... the second and third time the person I got through to said they could not give me the name of the person for five days... the fourth time, somehow, the person gave me the name without waiting five days... isn't civil service bureaucracy amazing...

meanwhile, between post office express mail tracking phone calls, I was on the phone with the courts... a half a dozen offices, more than a dozen different people, nobody's seen my express mail package... the mail room doesn't have it... the records room doesn't have it... the administrators office doesn't have it... the clerks offices doesn't have it... the office it was addressed to doesn't have it... the post office claims it was delivered and signed for at the address yesterday afternoon... what a world...

I should have called yesterday and questioned the process instead of respecting the people and expecting them to do their jobs efficiently...

the person I spoke to Wednesday called in sick Thursday and Friday... and this is a holiday weekend, so try back Tuesday... did I mention that they won't let me back to work until I get this paper from up north (it's a name change from a court I did years ago and I never changed the social security card and nobody's asked me for a social security card since my first job so... so there's yet another setback on this road of frequent setbacks... if I had a comfortable place to sleep it wouldn't be so bad, but another week or two crunched up is not what my back is needing... and I would really like to get my stuff back safely... and what else?... oh yeah, whine whine whine)...

anybody else getting tired of this?
(the Vitamin B must be wearing off or something)
