entry in progress more to follow later THIS WEEKS LINE-UPS: F1 F2 F3 B1 B2 B3 ok, baseball... as you see above, I shall endeavor to provide you with a link to each line up each week (yeah sure, the way I update?)... well, at least you can check out the teams for the moment... yes, football will be easier to update, uhuh... you know the drill (but we love the irony of redundancy and understatement, right?) a one and a two and a... B1, B2, B3 with B1 being the team in the first league and B2 being the team in the second... and... ahem J so what's new?... in the first league the team is sitting at 63 points with the leaders at 68 and 67.5 respectively... should be close to the way the league ends unless something very dramatic happens in the next two weeks... I can accept first place among the real players (honest, that is... sit a spell... y'all come back now, yahere?)... oh yeah, and the excitement continues to build... in the second league, the team remains in first place with 100 points and second place remains at 80 points... if it wasn't the end of the baseball season I'd share all the little details of the players dropped and added and trades and so on, but heck, this is a new and still developing place to ramble on so maybe next year... especially if you are interested enough to play... or at least want to know (might be a good time to tell me you are there) J in the third league the team is (drumroll?) in first place... for the moment, at least, 94 points puts our dear Wanderers (in case you didn't catch it {did I mention it?} somewhere, I seem to have named all of the teams 'Wanderers' so differentiation is a matter of which league, not team name... uh, so much for creativity J)... telling secrets, I focused on dropping the team ERA by grabbing hot relievers and it worked, one point up there... and then I focsed on stolen bases because six players are within ten SBs of each other and I picked up three points there... then I picked up a point in home runs... I lost a point in wins, but now the strategy is hold... and the plan to hold is to stay aggressive where I have been aggressive, but balance out the other statistical categories and though it will be tricky to win this one, it might be doable (with some luck) J anyway, 94 points holds first place for today and the team that has been in first place all season sits at second with 92... yeah, so whatchu up to? J |
