Solomon Phillips came to Starkesboro, Addison County soon after the Revolution. He and his wife, Susanna Willson are both buried in the Village Cemetery in Starkesboro.  Pat Geary has also provided us with a  transcription of his Revolutionary War Pension.

“36th Voted the Select men are authorized and directed to assign to Nathan Green and Harriet Green, the bond Executed by George A. Gage and Friend Adams to indemnify Said Town of Addison against all charges for the support of Harriet Green’s two Bastard Children on condition that they procure good and sufficient all charges & bonds expenses which said children have been hereafter may be to the Town of  Addison.”
