The Children's Sunday School is a significant part of Springdale Church's program. It meets concurrently with the Sunday worship service.
The children begin the hour in the regular service for the greeting, opening hymn and prayer. Then the pastor has a short talk with them, and afterward they go to the Educational Building for the rest of their activities. Currently they are learning about Noah, Moses, and other major Biblical figures.
It is a tradition every Christmas for the children prepare a pageant to present for the congregation. There are also special celebrations for Easter and other occasions.
Currently most of the children are preschool or early elementary-school aged. However, the church will provide Sunday School classes for children of any ages as needed.
It is not required that parents of Sunday School children join or attend the church. Parents are very welcome to bring their children for Sunday School even if they themselves cannot stay.
