Here are some places to learn about things in and near the metropolitan Kansas City, Missouri/Kansas area.

o Kansas City is known for Jazz music and Bar-B-Que. A coworker assures me that this Bar-B-Que link is "the only one you'll need." I managed to find this one on my own:
o Our major newspaper: The Kansas City Star
o Television in Kansas City:
In some parts of the metro area you might get KQTV Channel 2 (ABC, St. Joseph, MO)

What to know what is on all of these TV stations? Try tvguide.com, Yahoo!TV or Zap2it (zip code 64130 will get KC listings for you).
