The AT&T Telecom Pioneers knit and crochet hats for children in the Kansas City metro area. Currently hats are delivered to City Union Mission in downtown KC, MO.
Caps and mittens I donated in 2005 Project Linus distributes handmade security blankets to seriously ill and traumatized children. The Kansas City metro area chapter of Project Linus was formed June 1, 1997. We make knitted, crocheted and quilted security blankets for children in the metro area. We need volunteers to knit, crochet and quilt and accept donations of yarn, quilting fabric, and supplies.
Granny's Daughter Afghan I assembled for Project Linus The Project Linus of Metro Kansas City web site has lots of information about the chapter and links to a number of patterns for easy to make blankets and preemie items. Click on any of these small images to see some quilts I've made for Project Linus of Metro Kansas City. |
