And the human race gave us Robert Trent Jones, Sr. to design what he admiringly said, was his greatest achievement. Ironically, it was one of his last. The world class 7,046 yard, par 72 Campo de Golf, Playa Grande golf course is the center piece of SSPA’s incredible golf experience.

The Playa Dorada Golf Course was founded in 1984 and designed by the golf architect Robert Trent Jones Sr.. It has wide fairways, 4 greens by the sea, 5 greens are set 
bordering inland water. Around the course area there are many pleasant hotels, some of them located directly on the beach.
