"BEAUPARLANT ROAD" (archery only area)

This map shows our area the MNR refers to as WA-35-02. The southern third of the area, about 47,000 acres, makes up our "Beauparlant Road" area. This area is one of our archey only areas. It is bordered to the north by our Tik Rd. area, to the east by a area that has not been hunted for bears and to the south and west by reserve areas (no bear hunting). We just started hunting this area last season and only harvested one bear. The remoteness of the area, along with the fact that is has only seen two bear hunters (ever),makes this a prime area to try to bag that POPE & YOUNG record book bear!
