  • Structural engineering and drawing preparation for an approximately 10’ x 20’two story addition to house a new centrifuge. Construction consists of steel framing and masonry. Modifications to existing door and mechanical openings on the existing structure.

Niagara Mohawk, Tonawanda Services Center, Tonawanda, NY

  • Structural engineering and drawing preparation of foundation system for 45 foot by 170 foot pre-engineered building and small connector on the site where an existing building will be demolished.

Elevator Rehabilitation, Buffalo, NY

  • Structural engineering and drawing preparation for fire rated stairwell enclosure, separating stairwell from machinery room.

  • Structural engineering and drawing preparation of ventilation system in elevator shafts, including holes in concrete and safety grating.

General Motors, Moraine Assembly Plant, Moraine, OH

  • A Compressed Air Facility to provide plant air and replace the existing air supply facility.

  • Civil engineering and drawing preparation of the site location, utility routing, grading and drainage.

  • Structural engineering and drawing preparation of the building foundation, cooling tower stand and foundations.

  • Structural engineering and drawing preparation of a new trestle and foundations to support power cables and an air supply line of approximately 800 feet.

McGard Addition, Orchard Park, NY

  • A single story plant addition of approximately 28,000 sq ft. with a mezzanine of approximately 1,000 sq ft.

  • Structural engineering and drawing preparation of the roof, column, lateral load, and mezzanine floor systems.

  • Structural engineering for the two 3 ton under-hung crane systems and the removal of one existing column to allow one crane system to be extended into the addition.

Saint Gobain, Amherst, NY

  • Structural engineering and drawing preparation of a foundation system and  depressed loading docks for a 40,000 sq ft building with an 50 feet roof height.

Graphic Controls, Buffalo, NY

  • Structural engineering and drawing preparation of structural steel framing for a 250,000 sq ft building for office and manufacturing. This would include approximately 30,000 sq ft of second floor office space, four mezzanines, and six roof top mechanical units.

Cooper Industries, Cheektowaga, NY

  • Design of foundation for new horizontal milling center, supported on steel H-piles bearing on rock. The concrete mat encompassed an area of 42 ft x 55 ft with thickness up to eight feet.

Sorrento Cheese Co., Inc., Buffalo, NY

  • Structural design of a one-story steel framed office building addition. Lateral stability for the addition is provided by moment resisting frames with end plate moment connections.

United Silicone, Lancaster, NY

  • Structural engineering for two one-story additions totaling approximately 15,000 sq ft. The building construction consists of steel beams and roof joists with load bearing masonry walls. Additional snow loads on the existing building caused by the additions required the design of reinforcement for the existing roof structure.

Moog Hydrolux, Elma, NY

  • Design of foundations and floor slab for a 12,000 sq ft pre-engineered metal building addition. Difficult soil conditions required over-excavating and backfilling to foundation bearing with flowable fill material.

GM Powertrain, Tonawanda, NY

  • Design of foundations and floor slab for a 13,000 sq ft pre-engineered metal building housing air compressors and electrical transformers.

Lender's Bagel Bakery, West Seneca, NY

  • Investigation of 72,000 sq ft of roof to determine the load carrying capacity of the steel-framed roof system to carry the current mechanical and snow drift loads.

  • Design of roof reinforcement for snow drift and new equipment loads.

  • Design of freezer mezzanine for palletized product storage

  • Design of roof beams for new wall openings in existing load-bearing masonry walls.

  • Design of 1,000 sq ft of explosion relief panels for flour silo enclosure
    (34 ft x 40 ft x 42 ft high).

  • Design a new 8,500 sq ft roof over the existing roof.

Lafarge Corporation, Buffalo, NY

  • Structural engineering and drawing preparation for modifications to an existing cement silo warehouse and handling facility consisting of a new bucket elevator, air slides, elevated walkways two elevated steel silos, two-story control building, and truck scale.

Samuel, Son & Company, Inc., Lancaster, NY

  • Civil engineering and site and design of a 7.1 acre site including a 55,000 cubic feet detention pond.

  • Storm water management and erosion control plan (SPDES general  permit).

  • Design of spread footing foundation for a 46,000 sq ft pre-engineered warehouse. The building consists of two aisles with one 20 ton and one 30 ton crane. An interior depressed loading dock, a 3,000 psf floor loading from steel coil storage, and slab design for storage rack with 30,000 pound post loads were also included in the project

  • Design of spread footing foundation for a 5,000 sq ft pre-engineered office building.

Gemcor, West Seneca, NY

  • Structural Engineering for modifications to an existing 50,000 sq ft single story building including the design of three crane runways for a 15 ton, 20 ton, and a 35 ton cranes. Modifications to the high bay to remove the interior column row allowing the 35 ton crane to span 80 this design utilized an transfer beam located over the existing roof. Structural design for a new 18,000 sq ft office building and site engineering and hydraulic analysis of the 5 acre site.

Treibacher Schleifmittel Co, Niagara Falls, NY

  • Design of a 20 ft x 20 ft fan mezzanine including analysis to prevent resonance between the structure and the reciprocating machinery.

Tonawanda Coke, Tonawanda, NY

  • Layout and structural design of two settling basins 60 ft by 150 ft by 4 ft deep with inlet chambers, weirs, and access walkways.

Perry’s Ice Cream, Akron, NY

  • Structural design of a 13 ft x 62 ft addition to existing facility for the installation of four 6,000 gallon sugar storage tanks.

  • Design utilized structural steel framing and insulated panels with a removable end wall.

American Axle & Manufacturing, Tonawanda, NY

  • Structural design of a 6,500 sq ft rigid framed building to be used as a storage facility.

  • Design included 3,000 psf floor loading, a mezzanine with offices and a depressed loading dock.

Cooper Industries, Cheektowaga, NY

  • Design of spread footing foundation for a 25 ft x 60 ft pre-engineered metal building to be used for the storage of roll off dumpsters.

  • Design of caisson foundation system for 30,000 sq ft pre-engineered manufacturing addition. The building consisting of two aisles each with two 20 ton cranes. An interior depressed loading dock for two trucks and an equipment mezzanine were also included in the project.

Cooper Industries, Cheektowaga, NY

  • Design and rehabilitation for modifications to an existing testing area and boiler room converting it into a 2,800 sq ft maintenance area.

  • Conversion of an existing 1,200 sq ft maintenance area into a training center with a new 600 sq ft second floor.

APV Crepaco, Tonawanda, NY

  • Design of a new four-story pilot plant 50 ft x 60 ft, to be constructed within the walls of an existing one-story warehouse building.

TAM Ceramics, Niagara Falls, NY

  • Structural design of modifications to an existing moment resisting frame to allow for the installation of process equipment. Design included reinforcing a column and installation of a collar tie.

Riefler Concrete Products, Hamburg, NY

  • Design of foundations and three-story service building for a nine cubic yard ready mix concrete plant in an existing industrial complex in Lackawanna, New York.

  • Design of batch plant foundations consisting of aggregate batcher, fly ash and cement silos, batch mixer, holding hopper and feed conveyors.

  • New mat foundations to sit atop existing floor slabs designed to carry all vertical live and dead loads, as well as lateral loads.

  • Design of 15 ft x 32 ft service building, consisting of masonry and precast concrete construction and included handicapped access, rest rooms, and elevator.

General Mills, Buffalo, NY

  • Design of a silo extension and explosion panel for a 12 ft x 80 ft high silo, per NFPA 68.

Lapp Insulator, LeRoy, NY

  • Design of a new 24 ft x 36 ft x 15 ft raised roof bay in order to accommodate a new 5 ton top running crane.

Dimar Manufacturing, Lackawanna, NY

  • Modifications to an existing open-web, steel-joist roof system in order to allow for the removal of one joist with a 50 ft span. This modification was necessary in order to allow for the installation new equipment.

Niagara Mohawk Power Corp., Utica, NY

  • Structural analysis and design of two 12 ft diameter x 12 ft high mixing tanks with mixers. Design of the tanks was in compliance with the American Water Works Association standard D100-84.

American Axle & Manufacturing, Tonawanda, NY

  • Structural engineering and drawing preparation for a new 13,000 sq ft warehouse building with two interior loading docks for shipping and receiving utilizing a pre-engineered building and a shallow footing foundation system.

Sorrento Cheese Co. Inc., Buffalo, NY

  • Discuss requirements with the owner for a new 45 ft by 60 ft pre-engineered storage building.

  • Structural engineering and drawing preparation for the containment areas and foundation system.

  • Design of a foundation for a 7,000 sq ft pre-engineered building to be used as an electrical and compressor building.

Dupont, Tonawanda, NY

  • Design of a foundation and loading dock for a 10,000 sq ft pre-engineered building to be used as a warehouse.

Keller Technology Corp., Tonawanda, NY

  • Structural engineering and drawing preparation for the upgrading of an existing crane runway to support a second crane with a 20 ton capacity.

Ultra Tool & Plastics, Amherst, NY

  • Design of a new 96 ft crane runway support system to relocate a 10 ton overhead top running crane into an existing load bearing masonry building with a steel joist roof system.

Cooper Industries, Cheektowaga, NY

  • Design of a foundation system, supported on caissons, for a new gearbox milling machine and accessory equipment. The foundation was 40 ft x 60 ft, and consisted of a multi-level base mat 2 ft thick and an isolated base mat (370 sq ft x 10 ft) for the primary equipment.

Dunkirk International, Dunkirk, NY

  • Structural engineering and drawing preparation for a 3,600 sq ft steel framed equipment platform and a 2,000 sq ft equipment platform for a new glass crushing and sifting process line.
