Current Events Oct 27th, 2001- Thunder Valley Raceway Park. The Ok Buick Performance Club held the 8th in the series of Buick vs Ford Shootouts at the Noble, Ok racetrack. The series now stands at 3 wins for Buick, 5 for Ford. 100 Buicks and 102 Fords registered to race.

Thanks to our Clubmember's volunteer efforts for another great event. Also thanks to the Buick Racers driving in from Arkansas, Kansas, Texas, New Mexico, Missouri, Ohio and other states and especially to Lawrence and Janace Conley of Conley's Performance Plus.

Toy Dept. Monogram Model Cars has recently re-introduced the 1987 Buick Grand National model kit. These are now available at Hobby Lobby stores or ask for them at your local model car dealer.

Milestones On Nov.16,1997, My 86 GN made it's first 11 second 1/4 mile pass. Clocking 11.98 Also a best mph of 112.38 with 60 foot time of 1.621seconds. Motor, turbo & downpipe are stock. Factory intercooler has the Duttweiler neck. For details about my Grand National click Here.
