The Kyohdain brothers who transform into 'Space Ironman' Sky Zero and Ground Zero to battle against evil aliens is from a 1970s Japanese live action show of the same title. I always feel that live action robots are not as 'popular' as Anime robots both in Japan and especially overseas for the obvious reason that Anime robots' ability to express themselves is only limited to the imagination of the animators while the live action robots are usually constrained by their heavy rubber costumes and their limited budget special effects.  This is one of the the more successful live action shows from the 70s, and the same creator later created another popular live action show.  Dai Tetsujin 17.
