It's really great for die-cast collectors that Banpresto has decided to revive the Popy trademark.  The first die-cast robot to be released under the Popy logo in more than a decade is Gundam RX-78 (GA-100).  It's one of those toys that should have been released 15 years earlier, but it's better late than never.  RX-78 is made mostly of die-cast and comes with two pairs of projectile fists.   Both the design and the scale of the toy are  relatively similar to the vintage Popy die-cast, but I do feel that the toy looks quite dull with the all white paint scheme.  I think a touch of chrome plating on the upper arms and legs would bring back more of that vintage feeling.
