Hobby Project Boss Borott(3.75*)

Neither Popy nor Bandai has ever made a die-cast version of Boss robot.  A toy aficionado in Japan decided to take this matter into his own hand and produced this famous goofing looking "junk" robot from Mazinger series.  The toy was first released in limited quantity at the 1997 Winter Fest.  A limited black version was also produced earlier this year. 

The toy is made of die-cast body with vinyl/resin limbs and heads.  Its scale matches well with the 5" Mazinger (as shown), and is really a "must have" item for all Mazinger collectors.  My only complain is that the magnetic joints do not support the weight of the toy well, and sometimes the leg joints do give away during display, so it is prone to chipping.
