I was really disappointed initially after I put this toy together. Mazinger Z is my favorite super robot, yet this black version looks so...well, ugly. It looks like it just came out of an oven. I remembered Z was fried by Dublas M2 in the pilot episode, so I decided to watch the episode again. Sure enough, there was black Z. Did Bandai do a good paint job? Judge for yourself.
