ALL ABOUT ME   Wow! I'm flattered that you'd like to get to know me. Normally people completely ignore this page. (Or maybe you already know me, but not as well as you thought.) ;)   a REALLY old picture! ---><---a REALLY old picture!   Anyway, here's some general info about me along with a lot of links and stuff like that.   Wanna see my "Quiz Page", too? Hop on over here.     The Basic Facts   My name's Miranda J. Hawkins (but most of my friends call me Manda) and I was born August 9th, 1980 in Arlington, Texas, and I don't even want to talk about how old that makes me. *sighs* I have hazel eyes, brown hair, and am 5'2. My shoe size is 10 and I absolutely love having BIG feet! Although, when I'm mad and go stomping around the house in my Sketchers, no one else loves it very much. ;)   I have 4 pets that are just as cute as they can be! A red-haired chow named Missy, a bob-tailed tabby cat named Zephyer, and 2 adorable hedgehogs named Castor & Pollux. (If you can't already tell, I didn't get to name my dog; personally I think pets with exotic names are more fun, but that's just me. :) To see some great pictures of my pets, just click here.   07/27/04 - Sadly, I lost Zephyer back in March, so I guess you can now view this as a memorial of sorts to all the pets who've been in my life at one time or another.   06/13/05 - Due to complications after surgery, we had to put Missy to sleep in February, so yet another memorial. In fact, at this point I no longer own any of the animals listed above. I now have a whole new set, which I will try to get pictures of eventually. Three stray toms have recently wandered into my life and I've named them after the Norse gods: Loki, Thor, and Frey. My most recent addition is Rachel, a beautiful Great Pyrenees, who's just as gentle as can be. Nope, I didn't get to name her either. LOL!     My Personality   Like most people I have a light and dark side. I can be friendly, imaginative, generous, loyal, and a good listener. However I can also be moody, bossy, quick-tempered, lazy, and scathingly sarcastic. But, trust me, you get used to it after awhile. :) And if you don't. . . *maniacal laughter* Hmmm . . . now, where was I. . . oh, yes, personality. I'm also artistic, my art is my life. Without it I would wither slowly, eventually fading away into nothingness. If you're an artist I'm sure you understand what I mean. I like to talk, too. Once you get me started on something it's incredibly difficult to shut me up. Honestly, I'm not kidding, I can talk for hours upon hours on a single (incredibly boring) subject. Fortunately, I have a wonderful group of friends who kindly, but sternly, tell me to SHUT UP all the time. :)   (YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!)     My Favorite Things   Hmmm. . . let's see.
