Madonna vases were introduced around 1939 and produced for approximately
two years. Six different styles of vases were made and they were all originally
made in a single color, "Satin White". All of them are fairly uncommon. In
1954, Stangl's head of decorating, Irene Sarnecki cast a few of the 3204
Madonnas and hand decorated them in vibrant colors as shown. These hand painted
madonnas are extremely rare and quite beautiful.
