The St. Patty's Shaker card is the result of my first make-it-and-take-it stamp meet. I think it turned out quite nice. Making these cards is so much fun and so simple that I felt compelled to share the instructions. They make a thoughtful gift all by themselves or you can use as a gift tag.

What you will need:
Template
Card Stock
Pencil
Scissors
Rubber Stamp or Background Image
Dye Stamp Pad
Acrylic Laser (has to be for laser printer) Transparency Sheets
       or Fine Translucent Mesh
Two-Sided Scotch Tape
Double-Stick Mounting Tape
Your choice of tiny die cuts, confetti, beads, pot-pourri, or paper punch-outs
Ribbon (optional)

~Go to Rubber Stamping Resource Page By Donovan and select the   Templates page from the drop-down. Print the template for Envelope 2   onto card stock then cut along the outside border of the template.

~You may either use a card stock color of your choice, or stamp the   template to match the rest of your project.

~Cut the center window part out. Note that the dotted edges must be cut   much closer to the center like in my picture above, not all the way to the   outer edge like in the template.

~Cut a piece of paper about 1/4" wider on each side than the window part   you just cut out and stamp a background on it with Dye ink. Instead of a   stamp you may use a background image like I used for the Easter Shaker   card.

~Cut a piece of Laser Transparency 1/4" wider on each side than the   window opening and tape it to your template, covering the window   opening.

~You may substitute the Laser Transparency with a very fine translucent   mesh if you decide to use a flowery background and tiny pieces of   fragrant Pot-Pourri.

~Cut Double Stick mounting tape lengthwise to about 1/8" and position   around the window making sure that the edges are touching, leaving No   spaces. Make sure the mounting tape doesn't peek out on the front side.

~Sprinkle tiny die cuts, confetti, beads, anything tiny into the window hole,   to match your background. You can even use your punches to punch out   die cuts from different color papers.

~Remove the protective strips from the Double Stick tape and mount your   background, facing the Laser Transparency, on top of the Double Stick   tape.

~Place a strip of two-sided Scotch tape on flaps C and D of the envelope   and fold over the back of the background paper, taping them down   securely. Do the same with D, and then A on top of D.

~There you go...a Shaker Card! The confetti behind the mylar window   shakes!

~You may leave the envelope as is, or apply a ribbon like in the pictures.

~Enjoy!
