Del Mar Great BooksDel Mar Great Books Reading and Discussion Group meets monthly at the Barnes and Noble bookstore in Del Mar Highlands shopping center at the corner of Del Mar Heights Road and El Camino Real. We use the Reading and Discussion plan published by the Great Books Foundation and have been meeting since 1990. The group alternates its readings between Great Books Adult 4th Series published by the Foundation and Citizens of the World:Readings in Human Rights.
The date of our monthly meeting varies depending on the length of the next reading and is determined collectively at the end of the discussion, which runs from 6:45 p.m - 8:45 p.m.(Note: this is a new time) on a Friday evening. We welcome new members.
