The story behind the photos
The equipment
All the photos you see on this site were
taken with a Pentax K1000. I have only used 2 lenses
with this camera until just recently, a 28-70mm standard, and
a 70-210 zoom. I have now switched to the Tamron AF28-200mm Super II, becaues my 28-70mm has finally died. You may be asking why a Auto Focus lense on a manual camera? After 15+ Years with the K1000 body I'm expecting it to go too (keeping my options open). I don't use a flash in any
of my shots because I like the way the camera
can adjust to any situation. Also because
I travel lite and hate to take extra gadgets
and batteries around. You may ask why I use
such an outdated camera? Because it still
produces the results I want, and it has an
all metal body. I have taken my camera all
over the world and used it in all weather
conditions, it's a great tuff camera.
The WEB page
Yes the pages are slow. All the photos are
in high resolution and compressed down to
a manageble size. All for your viewing pleasure
(It's your vaction so take your time). I don't have any stories about the photos you see here, I let them speak for themself (pictures worth a thousand words, right?) Plus I don't want to bore you with my ramblings like I'm doing now. I
used a HP Pavilion computer with a Epson
Perfection 636U scanner with the help of
Adobe and IBM's web page designing software.
No photos were harmed in the transfer from
print to page. That also goes for any animal
shot I do. Some are wild and some are in
rehabilitative captivity.
Ordering information
Please do not attempt to copy theses photos
from your computer to make your own enlargement.
I have placed digital water marks in them
so you wont be pleased with the results.
Yes you can order some of the photos you
see on this site from me. Just request one
and I'll let you know if it is available
for enlargment. I charge a flat fee of
$30.00 per photo plus the cost of enlargement.

If you would like to have one of these photos
you can E-Mail me with your request and I
will quote you the price. I will also let
you know the Max size available for a particular
photo. As of now I only accept checks and
your order will not be shipped until your
check arrives. Sorry but I need to keep my
cost down. Expect small orders (5x7-8x10)to arrive
in a week of your payment, and large orders (11x14-20x30)
to take about 3 weeks.
