Privacy Notice

Our Commitment to Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. To make this notice easy to find, we make it available on our homepage and at every point where personally identifiable information may be requested.

This is the web site of Judith Blomquist and Edward McCarren. We operate a home-based business titled Squam Boaters Photography. Our postal address is 36 Villager Rd, Chester, NH 03036. We can be reached via e-mail at photos.squamboaters@att.net, or you can reach us by telephone at 603-860-2213.

The Information We Collect and How We Use It

For each visitor to our Web page, we automatically log the consumer's domain name, referring web page or search engine query, and system information (browser type, screen resolution, and operating system). No personally identifiable information (email address, name, etc.) is collected as part of this logging process. The information we collect is used to improve the content of our Web page, analyze trends, and improve site performance.

On some pages you can make requests via e-mail. The types of personal information collected on these pages are name, email address, and phone number (if provided). We utilize this information to respond to the request. We use return email addresses to answer the email we receive, unless you indicate you would prefer a phone call. An email response from us may ask to you to reply if you would like to opt-in for periodic updates about our site. You will not be added to an update list unless you respond affirmatively. Otherwise e-mail addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties. Persons who supply us with their telephone numbers on-line will only receive telephone contact from us with information regarding the request they have made on-line.

On some pages you can select products to purchase, placing them into an electronic shopping cart. The shopping cart utilizes a user-entered postal (zip) code only for the purposes of calculating shipping charges. No personally identifiable information is collected while you add or remove items from the shopping cart.

For payment we utilize PayPal, a third party payment service provider. When you are ready to place an order, you are transferred to PayPal. PayPal has a strict privacy policy and utilizes 128-bit secure connections for the transfer of personal information (more here).  PayPal collects and then provides us with your name, e-mail address, and shipping address. PayPal acts as an intermediary to conduct the transaction and does NOT provide us your credit card number or other financial information.

We utilize the information you provide about yourself through PayPal only to complete your order. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that order.

We will send you a confirming e-mail approximately 10 days after shipment that will inquire as to your satisfaction with your purchase. That confirming e-mail may ask you to respond if you would like to opt-in for periodic updates about our site. This communication will occur only once. You will not be added to an update list unless you respond affirmatively. Otherwise e-mail addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties.

If you have opted-in for e-mail updates and do not want to receive e-mail from us in the future, please let us know by sending us e-mail at the above address.

If you supply us with your postal address on-line you will only receive the information for which you provided us your address.

That service does utilize cookies for tracking purposes. Only users that reach our site by entering the above URL in their browser will have the cookie set by our domain registrar. We do not collect any information from the cookie set by our registrar.
