The Society for Prevention of Violence Newsletter is published
twice a year.
The newsletter publishes articles, statistics, and other material
that are of special interest to persons who work with children and
aim to reduce violence in our society. Emphasis is placed on
preventing inter-personal violence and violence to oneself.
Inter-personal violence is provoked by abusive verbal and/or physical
behavior between two or more persons, while self-induced violence is
frequently caused by addiction and is often self-inflicted.
Articles in the newsletter are intended to relate to the prevention
of violence and to show that violence prevention does not only save
lives, but also leads to great friendships, to better education, and
an improved life style and can be the basis of a complete turnaround
in accepting human values and in treating others.
