Splishy Splashdown party...
It was very exciting to open the first box. In fact I was really excited to see the first box come out of the container. This was my box design that I had e-mailed to the factory in China so many months ago. Rather than non-recyclable foam packing material I had asked them to use strips of paper that might resemble water or nest material...
It took them a while to catch on but I think they did a super job. They used paper trimmings from a book publisher for packing material and every once in a while you may find a whole page from a children's booklet with interesting pictures... how fun...

Installation Information
We are talking ornamental here. Sometimes installation is as easy as placing the new Splishy Splash block on top of a preexisting concrete splash block and adding a few rocks at the base.
Sometimes the height of the down spout opening needs adjusting. A screw driver, tin snips, hack saw, and additional downspout material may be required in some cases.
The Big Fish should rest firmly on the ground. The inner passageway is sloped so if the Big Fish is set on a level surface, the water will come out of the mouth. A short piece of downspout pipe can be used to adapt larger diameter gutter systems to fit Splishy.
A splash block channels the water from downspouts away from the buildings foundation. Sometimes it may be necessary to change the grade by bringing in or removing, dirt rock, gravel. or concrete to make sure water from the downspouts has a clear way to flow. A little landscaping can often make a big difference. Foundation repair jobs usually include down spout extensions and landscaping to keep water away from homes and out of freshly repaired basements.
They really ought to declare that as the first law of down spouts. I like to use a garden hose and insert it in the Splishy Splash Block, turn the water on and watch it flow. Sometimes a hoe and shovel can be used to make a channel for the water to flow towards the natural drainage.
If you are a working professional you could also check that gutters and downspouts are clean and in good working order... You may be surprised at the number of people who don't know that a clean and properly operating gutter system can save them big bucks on water damage and foundation repairs. Somebody could get paid for installing Splishy Splash Blocks...
I have installed some on rock and concrete pedistals and you kinda get a waterfall effect as the water comes out of the Big Fish's mouth and trickles down the rocks when it rains. Perhaps you could e-mail us your pictures of your really neat Splishy installation.
Of course when it comes to nutty ideas and a novel new way to keep your gutters clean, I've got a winner for you. This could save you getting up on a ladder and washing out the gutters with a garden hose... Just take a handful of peanuts and throw them up on your roof. The peanuts will roll down into the gutter and pretty soon the local squirrels will be up there digging out the leaves to get to the nuts. (LOL)
