MESSAGE FROM THE FUND TEAM

Isla Grant received the following message from the College:

I am happy to say we have ended a very successful AF01 Fund Year and 25^th Reunion year for the Class of 1976! With your help, your class raised $351,993.27 from 53% of your class for the college. ($216,828.58 was given to the Alumnae Fund and $135,164 to other sources such as Scholarships, Botanic Gardens, Museum and Library). What a remarkable gift for Smith! This is the largest percentage of participation ever for the class of 1976--previously the class reached 45% at your 15th reunion.

Thank you for all your help this past year. We certainly could not have been this successful without all the personal contacts you made on behalf of Smith.

Thanks to all the Fund team members: Isla Grant, Anne Cohen, Sharon Goddard White, Mary Spivy Dangremond, Susan Gallo, Charity Imbrie, Dione Dickinson Kenyon, Sarah "Sally" Scott Moser, Anne O'Connell, Kaarina Salovaara, Jane McClintock Wyatt, Anne Bogar, Susan Talsky Chertoff, Andrea Feld, Barbara Kolich Kistner, Alice Hanlon Peisch, Olof Helgason Preston, Colleen Quinn, and Anne Terhune.

Overall, the Alumnae Fund raised over $10.5 million with 49% participation this year. This is the largest percentage of participation the college has seen in its history and we added 800 new donors to make this happen! Also, 59 classes reported 100% participation from their fund teams and 1976 was proudly included in this number.

I would also like to take this time to welcome the new fund team for the class of 1976 who will serve until the 20^th reunion in 2006:
