I'm in the middle of Spring cleaning, in September, so don't be surprised if some things are out of place. I think they call that ERROR 404! Or NOT FOUND. But no matter, the next time you come. you'll be able to find your way around my web home all by yourself. Let's go to the garden first before we venture up on
the porch. And do plan to sit a spell on the front porch for
some stories and folklore depicting a way of life you won't find recorded in history books.
I have visited every Linking, Blinking, Winking, and Nod site on the web. It has been an interesting journey.
Smerelda is my nickname for WWW purposes. Not bad though it gets me in lots of places. ;) Homepages are all new to my family and me, as you will see, but we are becoming "quick studys". What started as a dream to have a sweet little homepage called Snapshots to force my friends and family to look at my vacation photos has become what you may feel is my worst nightmare. The closest gurus I know live in Germany, so my page is just made with homemade sunshine. As a child I was said to be a yarn spinner, so perhaps I have found my niche as a web spinner!
My pages are mostly family related, but then I don't have the regular garden type variety family as you will see.
We're from the South by birth and by choice. In the past we didn't venture beyond the old Mason-Dixon Line very often, now cyberspace has made "instant there" possible. Shreveport, Louisiana is my home, my son and his wife live in Germany, my daughter and her two little "precious puffs", Joshua and Donnis Piper, live in Bossier City, Louisiana. We call them "The Hyper Pipers."
However I do feel that HTML really stands for
to have a life, and a much cleaner house, before I got a computer and a modem!
I believe the sun is up now so get ready to launch on my little "Gigabyte of The Apple". We are going to begin in the Garden, and then on to "The Front Porch."
