THE GARAGE
Here we are in the garage for a brief look at the past.
Well not that far past! Anyway, back in the "fifties" not
many of us could afford a 50's anything, but if we could have
these would have led the list. This is by no means a full
collection, but I hope it will be one day. As I remember the
cars back then, grew fins and grillwork and tail lights bigger
every year. I rode around in one like one pictured on this page.
It belonged to my highschool sweetheart. I wonder if you can pick it out?  Save the comments please! :-)

        My friend Gail's favorite poster!

This has to be  truly a "MET NITE DATE"
She owned one and she and I (and  boyfriends)
saw (?) many drive-in movies in it.

But now don't go getting lost over there!
              Ya'll get on back here!

Can you believe we had a Studebaker
just like this.  The car that looked the
            same going and coming!

1955 Chevy, but we got it in '65 and at
that time was just a "used car" to us.

            56 BUICK
My friend Gail's Mom's car.  I think we probably
snuck this beauty out once-upon-a-time.  They later
got a Buick Stationwagon.  We were not impressed!!

As a mere "child" I learned to drive on a car just like this '56 Olds.
