The day The
Holy Child was born,
It shines down
on a house, deep down in The South
Calling me home....."
CHRISTMAS
time in The South is filled with tradition and
celebrations.
Families gather, children anticipate gifts and parties,
generations
join hands, and the joy of the season can be seen and
felt
everywhere.
It's
a "coming home" time in my family. Our lives unfortunately
have
separated us... but Christmas brings us home.
Seldom
if ever do we have a "white Christmas."...ours is usually
cool,
more like Autumn.
But
that doesn't take away the "feeling of Christmas" that abounds.
We
may not have a sleigh ride "over the river and thru the woods" ...
but
we all still know the way to Grandma's house.
