The Spirit of Christmas Future

There was a time in the South when a window was something you hated to wash, and a cursor was one who shouted obscenities.
And if you unzipped anything in public you were sure to go to jail for awhile.  But that's all changed now,
we're on our way to Y2K, and we all speak the language.
 I hope you enjoyed the brief step back in time to  "The Spirit of Christmas Past" in the ante-bellum South, and spending time with me in the" Christmas Present."   It's time now to lighten up with two short pages which take a peek at "The Spirit of Christmas Future."
 
 

Although, no one can go back and make a brand new beginning, we can start today and make a brand new end.
The past holds only memories for us to cherish, and the future is of such that we can only dream or hope for.  But we do have today, and I believe it is a gift
from God.  Perhaps that's why it's called "the present."
