I am George Smedley's ggggggrandson.There are some interestig descendants of George.To name a few,Isabel Darlington (1st female admitted to the BAR in Chester Co.),Smedley D Butler (2 time recipient of The Medal of Honor),Hubert H Humphrey (Presidential candidate),Brigham Young (Mormon Leader),Jerusha Smith (niece of Joseph Smith).Also,Charles Smedley who died at Andersonville during the Civil War. He kept a diary up to a few days before his death and it was pulished and is still available.
