................................................................."Appointments"
There are two ways for me to "meet" with you outside
of the classrom: (1) E-mail msgs 24/7,
including weekends; and (2) On-Campus appointments (aka in-line
rather than online):
...........................................................#1 E-mail:
Note: Because mechanical robots harvest e-mail
addresses from many web sites in the quest for spam, I provide
my "home" e-mail address in class & via my weekly
messages. That address may provide you with more timely access
than my "tjsl" address. If your request is urgent,
you should submit your e-mail to both of my e-mail addresses.
Otherwise, e-mail my office address. You can also e-mail me from
the TJSL Computer Classroom "hotmail" account (access
directions are posted).
........................................................................................#2 On-campus:
See Teach/Off Hours Sched: make appointment with Faculty Secretary--or contact
me, if the listed time frames do not work for you.
Appointment Notes: To ensure my availability, day students
should schedule an office appointment with a Faculty
Secretary Donna (x1410). I am not always available
for walk-in appointments during my scheduled Office Hours below--because
of unexpected faculty meetings, committee meetings, putting out
fires, etc. However, someone will contact you in advance if I
must postpone our appointment.
If you schedule an office appointment shortly after one
of my classes, be sure to come to that classroom--if
I have not arrived in the Academics area by several minutes after
the time of your appointment. That way, I will know you are waiting
for me. (It is quite typical for me to remain in the classroom,
to answer questions, until the next scheduled class begins to
arrive, thirty minutes after my last class has just ended.) |
