COMMENTS First MG kit I constructed. Was very impressed with the kit at the time. There are many seams to sand and fill, most notably are the upper arm and forearm halves and the legs. There is minimal internal frame which is limited to the torso and lower legs. Lower legs are left unglued to show off internal mech. BUILD UP This kit was built straight out of the box. FINISH Gunze Acrylic paints were airbrushed. This was my first attempt at the Max technique of painting black down first and then the top coat. The effect is very minimal. The bazooka was first painted black and then airbrushed with Testors Enamel Chrome Silver to achieve the two-tone look. Minimal weathering was applied and was limited to a wash and drybrush. I would like to redo the kit now. Maybe a desert scheme or a back date option.
