| DESCRIPTION
Basis for conversion: While the fighting continued in 0093, a mass produced version of Char's Sazabi was introduced by the Neo-Zeon forces. Built with the same New-Type Psycoframe, the MSN-04 SAZABI MARINE was used by Char's chosen Newtype pilots. Developed primarily for break through roles, the SAZABI Marine was a monster on the battle field. CHANGES Heavily modified Bandai Kit. ABS sheet for the shied. All scratch built. Detailed with Wave bits. Profile of waist thruster armor was modified. Backpack was modified with styrene sheet. Modified lower leg armor. Flipped the Rear Tail Vents to point down. Right shoulder is sheet styrene boxed around kit shoulder joint. Various details were added. Left shoulder armor is the two kit shoulder armors glued together and recontoured with polyester putty. Addition armor shield is sheet stryene. Spikes are resin casts off of scratch master. Main gun is modified MG-42 for 12" action figures . Replaced kit hands with resin B-Club hands for Sazabi. Battle damage was added with motor tool after main painting and touched up by hand with brush. Funnel System was removed and funnels were applied to skirt armor as guided warheads. Large propellant tanks are PVC plumbing endcaps. FINISH Primer - Testors Camo Grey Spray Paint Paint - Airbrushed various acrylic paints. Rust orange is custom mixed. Weathering - A wash of enamels was applied over the acrylic paint. Pastels were applied to accent battle damage and dirt. Chipped paint was achieved with a brush, chrome silver and various shades of dark browns were used to give it a used look. |
