Being the son of an Air Force sergeant
(and later joining the service himself) has meant a life full of travel
and sometimes adventure for Scott. Born in Duluth Minnesota in 1959,
he has lived in places as diverse as Guam and Alaska.
After graduating from high school, Scott began an occupation
in the repair and calibration of electronic and computer
systems that would last over 20 years. During this time
his favorite hobby was desktop publishing and design,
which at the young age of 42 he decided to make into a
full-time career.
Being already experienced with programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator,
FreeHand and PageMaker, Scott realized that he lacked a good working
knowledge of design principles and aesthetics. He decided to attend
the International Academy of Design and Technology in Tampa Florida,
to earn an A.S. degree in Computer Graphics.
Many of the works displayed here are projects assigned as part of
the Computer Graphics program at IADT. |
