AIRLINE: A Business Simulation Game for Strategic Management  -  Now Browser-Based!

Jerald Smith, Peggy Golden, Michael Deighan

This very popular simulation game is designed for academia and management development and built around the commuter/regional airline industry. It can be used in business strategy, operations strategy, marketing strategy, general management, and airline programs of all types. Teams of from 2 to 5 students make a large number of decisions involving strategy, marketing, and operations management. Each decision period represents 3 months and the game can be played for 6 to 12 iterations.

Interpretive Simulations, our publisher, has updated the simulation and adapted it for use on the internet.  Instructors may download resources and demo the simulation by requesting a faculty ID through the Interpretive site.  A link is provided below.
