Lady Surama came to our Grove with many years of experience. After much testing and class work she was granted the level of 1st Degree, without having to take all the classes from Wolfen Wicca that would be redundant to her. She is also the first to be named after a Goddess (Surama; an ancient form of Hecate) which in its own ways seems to fit her greatly. This honor is one she wears proudly!

Lady Surama has a strong personality that says "I take no "Crap" from anyone" much in the same vein as the Goddess Surama, yet her dedication to the grove and the Goddess has been unfailing, even in the deepest times of trouble. That's not to say that there were not rough times between her and myself (me with an equally strong personality) but in the end the Goddess drew us back together and made our bonds even stronger..

Lady Surama is an outspoken defender of Paganism and has done many seminars and talks on Wicca and What Witches are all about. She has worked endlessly in trying to educate others, and has helped in the actual construction of pagan monuments

Some of her accomplishments include, at varying points, being Maiden to the Grove, being an E-lite, assistant to High Priestess, acting High Priestess on her own full moons, and general right hand helper to The High Priestess and Witch Queen.

Lady Surama has been blessed with much natural talent and has weathered much personal pain in her life. Such attributes lead to the makings of an excellent leader, but being young she is still developing the focus needed to use such qualities, but in my opinion she is doing very well. Yet in many cases, as many of us do when we are learning, she chooses to learn the hard way. Yet I must say that in the years that I have known her I have seen her grow from one who is sure she is right to one who accepts other possibilities. She has even learnt to use the word "salvageable" in her vocabulary! Such a feat has made me very proud of her! I have no doubt that as she mellows and grows in the wisdom of age and the Light of the Goddess she will one day make a wise and compassionate High Priestess.

Her talents include a natural ability to work on the astral level. She also has a talent for working with stones and crystals, and for constructing spells. She could be a natural teacher if she chose to be, but right now she is busy learning all she can.

As a person and grove member I depend deeply on, I consider myself fortunate to have had Lady Surama drop into my life and to become my friend. Lady Surama, Lady Shadow Stalker, and myself always seem to remind me of the three faces of the Goddess or on some days the three witches from Macbeth, as they stir the pot…. What more trouble or wisdom will the three of us discover in this new millennium, only the Great Goddess knows. I only hope that we will be together for many more thousands of years to come, we are such a winning team (no ego here)! Thank you Lady Surama for all you have done to make my life and my job easier and above all for being my friend! (oh and the gemstones didn't hurt either)
