Subject: Initiation Names

Woods Walker is to become Lord Woods Walker, Tender of the Eternal Grove. This name was given to me in a message, by his mother, from the Bright Lady. The reasoning behind the name is to set at ease any fear or regret of the recent crossing of his mother. It is both his Mother and The Bright Lady's Promise to him that all things return and that nothing is ever truly lost or over. By becoming the tender of the eternal grove woods walker will understand the importance of the cultivation of himself as a person and the relationships he makes in his future. Behold LORD WOODS WALKER , TENDER OF THE ETERNAL GROVE.

If I tell you of my achievements with students it is only fair I share my failures. Woods Walker was a student I failed, somehow I did not meet his needs and we grew apart, finally in the end I heard that he left to go to another Coven/grove that had broken the covenstead laws and infringed on our stead. That was a time of terrible pain & witch wars. I was instructed by the Bright Lady I could do nothing to defend myself and we took a terrible beating in the gossip mill.

I do not blame Lord Woods Walker for his defection, it was my failure to him as a Leader and High Priestess. What made this situation even worse was that we had been such good and close friends for almost 13 years before this yet somehow I caused him enough pain that he left without a word, I do not see him at all any more which still brings me sadness. I am not sure what I could have done differently when all this was going on. I am not sure what I did to hurt him in the first place, maybe we just grew to far apart to meet up again. Maybe he needed to seek another teacher or another road. I am not sure but I felt that you had a right to know of my failure (and disgrace that I was not the High Priestess I should have been).

Its is with much shame and humility I take the blame and hope that this situation has taught me much. That in the future I do all I can and not fail to lead my students, not fail to notice their needs as I am to wrapped up in my own. That I be the very best vessel I can be for the Bright Lady and follow all that she directs of me.

It is my heartfelt wish that one day our paths intersect again and we renew the friendship we had, yet I am not naive enough to believe this will happen soon. So I wish Lord Woods Walker the very best and May the lady and Lord hold him close and keep him safe.
