Lord Akarui Mori Ki is one of our most recent Initiates; he has proven his dedication to the Goddess over and over. His name was directed to me by the Goddess and is sadly one I can't pronounce well, thus Lord Ki, but is one that seems to fit him to a tee. He comes to the grove with some knowledge of Martial Arts and is enamoured with all things from the Orient. Chivalry and Honor and Loyalty play big roles in his life and in his manner of being.

Lord Ki is a Spirit Warrior by nature and spends much time trying to fill that role. He is always prepared to act to defend the honor of the Goddess or in any astral (light wars) that may be thrown his way. He has been blessed by the Goddess as an incredible writer and one whose fame will one day make him a household word. He writes with deep thought, sensitivity and satirical humor all of which weave their way into your heart and soul. In addition to this he has a never ending urge to see that the world understand and portrays paganism and Wicca with respect and honor, but above all with the truth of what a wonderful and eye opening experience it is.

His duties in the grove included being our official Circle Caster, Book of Shadows Keeper, Grove Tending, Collector of Dues and too many other positions to mention. He has played key roles in Full Moons and written Sabbats, as well as helping in the inner court decision making. He has never failed to continue to learn, taking many classes to increase his knowledge. His is especially good at Tarot interpretation, even though he is shy about it.

Lord Ki is a long time friend who has grown on me and I now feel as comfortable with as an old shoe. Although painfully shy at first he is well worth getting to know, as he is warm and loyal to the end. He has a wonderful sense of humor and a driving need to be wanted and loved. There would be a great loss if he were to disappear from my life so Lord Ki I want you to know you are loved (maybe not the way you are seeking but loved none the less)!

I look forward to watching Lord Ki develop, as he becomes more assured of him self and his abilities. I do believe there are things in there he has not yet shared with anyone and I bet they are wondrous. His potential seems only limited by his quiet and shy personality.
