MY TRUE HERO

LADY SHADOW STALKER

In my life I have met many people, few who have touched my life as much as my valued friend and confidant LADY SHADOW STALKER. She has spent many years at my side, working quietly for the Bright Lady and Lord, never tiring of my direction. Always ready and willing to step up to the plate and put her own ideas, dreams and wants on hold.

Manys the day I awoke from a dream and said to her, "I had a dream and the Goddess says we are to do such and such..." She NEVER ONCE questioned how we were to do it, where the money was to come from or complained because most of the physical work fell to her shoulders. She would just smile and begin that typical analytical Librian diagnoses of a situation." Well," she would say," we will need this and this.. but maybe this might work better."

Soon the task was accomplished and all I had done was say "I had a dream..." She would normally do most of the physical work, and I would almost always get the credit! The task now set in the limelight, and my gift of speech, going full speed ahead as if it had been easy as pie. She would then stand at the dark edges, coaching and encouraging me on, as if I had done the entire thing myself. NEVER an unkind remark came from her....Yes it must have been awfully cold there in my shadow....

So it is at this time I would Like to turn the Lime light on her and say,

"My deepest heart friend, I thank you for all those years. All the work and tears and happy moments we shared together. All the Victories and setbacks. All the broken hearts from men and friends with daggers, how you were always there for me. Thanks for being there when others "crossed over", both human and animals and reassuring me that we can get through this stronger in faith, and greater in wisdom. Thank you for picking me up off the floor more times than I dare remember from my illness, for helping me when I really couldn't walk, for encouraging me to never ever give up, even when it looked like we couldn't win. For teaching me to never trust the LOOK of things, that the battle is never over until we stop. For never being tired in spirit, for guiding me in the ways of Unconditional Love for teaching me to trust again, for helping me see the beauty in humanity, for all the things done and for all the unsaid times I should have said Thank You. "You are truly MY HERO and I am your Number 1 fan."
I did not write this Poem but it so reminds me of you,Lady Shadow Stalker. So to all out there, If a tear has not fallen by now, grab a tissue cause it will now. I was lucky enough, and directed by the Grace of the Goddess, to have found my friend of over 17 years. I really feel she is my Angel in Earth form, My guide to keep me on track. I hope in my heart that each of you find yours.....
Forever Friends
Forever Friends

Sometimes in life,
you find a special friend;
Someone who changes your life
just by being part of it.
Someone who makes you laugh
until you can't stop;
Someone who makes you believe
that there really is good in the world.
Someone who convinces you
that there really is an unlocked door
just waiting for you to open it.
This is Forever Friendship.

When you're down,
and the world seems dark and empty,
Your forever friend lifts you up in spirit
and makes that dark and empty world
suddenly seem bright and full.
Your forever friend gets you through
the hard times, the sad times,
and the confused times.
If you turn and walk away,
your forever friend follows.
If you lose your way,
your forever friend guides you
and cheers you on.
Your forever friend holds your hand
and tells you that
everything is going to be okay.
And if you find such a friend,
you feel happy and complete,
because you need not worry.
You have a forever friend for life,
and forever has no end.
