Hall Teapot Identification & Color Guide

A Hall China Teapot Identification Guide is provided on the Hall Bulletin Board site.  http://hallchinacollectors.com  (then choose Hall China Info)

Use this chart to identify your teapot shape and color. You should be able to match the following colors and shapes to the codes found on the bottom of your pots. The numbers in the chart do not include the leading zeroes. Thus, a Black Boston pot shows as '10' on the chart, but on the bottom of the pot '0010' would appear.

The information presented here was originally gathered by Harvey Duke for inclusion in his "Hall Two" volume. If you use this table a lot, you might want to purchase a copy for your own. Click here for information on Duke's Hall China series.

Below is some additional information to add to the above Identification Guide.

* New info from Hall Collectors

Most Chinese Red, Midnight Blue, Jonquil Yellow, Indian Red will be marked with the HSQK stamp.
Not all colors are found on all teapot!
Additional Teapot ID information:
"Twenty colors are listed in the ID chart, but four additional colors show up.  These four have the same numbers as four on the list, as follows: Chartreuse is found with the Stock Brown numbers, Gray with the Cobalt numbers, Blue Turquoise with Delphinium numbers and Monterrey with Green Lustre." Harvey Duke

Also couple a long time Hall collector sent me the following:
The Newport #'s range from  0121-40, and the Bartow from 0181 to 0200
The Globe No-Drip range from 0821-0840.

A golden brown color (looks like a butterscotch) uses the same numbers as camellia.  I am looking for more information on these. Could this be Clay?
