Skins
-
- Okay, there's
not much here at the moment, but I've got a lot planned, so keep
an eye out. :-) Also, keep in mind, everything here was created
using sceencaps from Harry's adventures in the EA PC computer
games based on the Harry Potter movies. While I DO NOT claim
the images as my own, the work to make them into 'Sims accessible'
files is all mine, so please don't use these or put them up on
your site without asking
first. Thank you!

- 12-15-04 - Greetings!
Bet you guys thought I'd abandoned you. Never fear! Classes are
just about over with and I've finally had some free time to get
another skin made. So, let's skip on the chatter and get down
to business. I present my favorite of the house ghosts so far,
Nearly Headless Nick! Many, many,
many thanks goes to Una and JJ at Comhair
for allowing me to use their FABULOUS skin mesh! I bow down humbly
at your feet! Also needing thanks is Vix at Livin-it-up.net for the use of the head mesh.

-
- Just a quick
note, Nick's extra costumes, like the other ghosts, won't all
show up automaticallyin the game. So, you need to download SimWardrobe
from Paladin's Place and, once you've created your family, use
the program to set up everything so that it looks okay. If you
have any problems with anything, let
me know and I'll see what I can do to help you.

Well, it's been awhile, but I've been hard at work and have three
skins to present you with today. In addition, as per request,
I've altered the images for the skins, so that they're bigger and easier
to see.
-
- Okay, first,
here are the skins: the Fat Friar,
the Grey Lady, & Moaning
Myrtle. Numerous thanks goes out to a lot of people for making
these possible! The Fat Friar body mesh comes from The Blarney Stone & Dr. Pixel. The Grey
Lady head mesh is Fionn's from SimFreaks and the body mesh is thanks to
Una at Comhair. Myrtle's head mesh is another wonderful
Fionn creation and her body comes from Mhari at Livin-it-up.net. Thank you, everyone, for
allowing the use of your amazing meshes!

-
- Just a note
on these, as much as I've tried, I can't seem to get all of the
extra costumes to show up automaticallyin the game. So, you need
to download SimWardrobe from Paladin's Place and, once
you've created your family, use the program to set up everything
so that it looks okay. If you have any problems with anything,
let
me know and I'll see what I can do to help you.

- UPDATE - 09/23/04
- A Mrs. Norris skin to go with Filch.
I know it's not much, but my graduate classes have hit me like
a ton of bricks and I'm a little out if it at the moment. I'm
still working on a bunch of the ghosts, though, so just be patient,
kay?

- UPDATE - 09/06/04
- Alrighty, so I lied. :-) I've created another skin. This time
it's Professor Pomona Sprout. Many
many thanks goes out to the wonderful people at Livin-it-up.net for allowing the use of their
body mesh so that I could complete this skin. Please go pay them
a visit! I've used their items in the Burrow, the Dursleys, and
in Knockturn Alley. Also be sure to check out their amazing alternate
"Hole in the Ground" which can be found under 'Buy->Misc->Other'.

- UPDATE - 08/20/04
- I'm pleased to announce my first (and probably last) Harry
Potter skins: Argus Filch and Professor Filius Flitwick. Many thanks
to Jerome
for Filch's new body mesh! After many painstaking hours, they're
finally finished (I think) and ready for your gaming needs. Of
course, to make Flitwick the right size he's got a child's personality,
but I actually think it'll make things a bit more interesting
during game play. :-)
