Sandblasted Signs    In the past, handcrafted wood signs have always been an indication of a thriving, upscale company that has made its mark and will be around for many years to come.  This is still true today.  Sandblasted wood signs are not only durable, but they command attention and project the image of a "solid" business.

     Wood  At Absolute Signage, we use only the best cedar with tighter grain and less pulp for a more durable material.  Redwood is still offered, but we have found the truly durable redwood from center-cut heartwood is getting more and more rare... thus more and more expensive.  Our quality, tight-grained cedar has proven to withstand the elements over time just as well, giving just as nice visual effects.

     Alternate Materials  We realize a wood sign is not always desired. With advances in technology, today we can provide more options, such as HDU.  High Density Urethane, or HDU, ais a light-weight but weather resistant material, such as in the example to the right.  If a wood sign is still the desired look, we can add "wood grain" texture to the HDU.  Of course, many of our clients prefer to remain with the tried and true cedar, especially for natural stained backgrounds.  Absolute Signage happily offers both for sandblasted signs.  We also utilize a wide range of other materials for various types of signs, such as granite, glass, vinyl, plastics and metal.
