Buttons comes from a middle class environment with a loving mother and a kind and caring stepfather. They both teach him the art of proper behavior toward all mankind and bear kind alike. His parents also teach him how to behave properly around little girl bears and because of this behavior, Buttons finds that he is rather popular with the girl bears at school. Button’s goal in life is to become a businessman in his hometown of Caveville, USA. He is determined to become a man with high standards, never cheating or telling lies to anyone. (High Standards means that He makes himself act right and goes out of his way to never lie or steal or do anything wrong.) With these goals in life he also finds that the truth is the best friend anyone can have and very necessary for a successful life. His outward appearance is adorable to all those that see him. He is a light blue fluffy bear with a big black button nose. He has big black buttons on his suspenders and big black buttons on his shirt. His hat resembles a golfer hat and matches his pants at all times. He cares about his appearance because he knows that this is the best way to tell all those around him that he cares not to offend them in any way. Buttons is a charming character and you will grow to become very fond of him. He is full of life and finds the good in everyone and everything around him.	Blueberie is a wonderful pet known as a Balblitz from the "Land Of Blitz". Not many of the Balblitzes have made it to Buttons and Lacey’s town in Caveville, USA. They are considered very rare, which means not many people have them for pets. Blueberie is a ball of fluffy light blue fur, and he happens to match Buttons in color. Buttons has given his pet a cap with an image of himself on the hat so incase Blueberie gets lost, anyone would know he belongs to Buttons. The best thing about Blueberie and all the Balblitzes from the "Land Of Blitz" is the fact that they can speak the same language of their owners. They are very smart and they can learn very quickly. Not only has Blueberie learned Button's language, he also has learned the same manners and proper behavior that Buttons has learned.	Lacey comes from an upper class environment, as her parents are very wealthy, however, both parents are loving and teach their daughter bear how to behave properly as a young lady at all times. She is taught to be considerate of others and to always treat another bear the same way that she would like to be treated. Her appearance is delicate and soft. She wears clothing that is a bright against her light pink fluffy fur. Her eyes are an electric and irresistible blue and her eyelashes are like black delicate lace. Her lips are heart shaped and most of the time she has a big smile because she knows that smiles are catching to others. Everything Lacey wears has lace and ruffles and is in new and clean condition. Most of the time she is never seen looking sloppy and dirty unless what she happens to be doing at the time calls for being dirty and messy, such as playing on the playground with other bears her age. Her parents have taught her to be a clean little bear but when there is a reason to get dirty, then this is an okay thing to do. Lacey is a sweet little bear and all the other girl bears in her town of Caveville, USA like her. She makes a special effort to treat others the same way that she wants to be treated. Her goal in life is to become a Fashion Designer. Many times when she is not playing with her friends or doing her homework from school, she will be drawing designs for her clothing that she actually wears to school. Her mother taught her to sew from the time she was three years old. Although her parents are rich, Lacey loves to make her own clothing and because she has spent so much time in doing this, she goes out of her way to protect and take care of what she wears.	This Balbitz is Pinkerie, Lacey’s pet. Isn’t she adorable? Her fur is fluffy and light pink, which matches her owner. She wears a big red bow at the top of her head that matches her heart shaped nose and mouth. She is a sweet pet to have and many times has reminded Lacey of her manners when Lacey seems to forget them. You will also learn later how well she behaves when she meets Blueberie.
