"I would like to offer my sincerest regards, regrets, and condolences to the family, friends, and loved ones of Dale Earnhardt. He was a hero to me and many more. He was the G.O.A.T. of Nascar, the Greatest Of All Time!

God speed and God bless. You will be missed!"

Earnhardt, to me, was Nascar. He was quite simply, and not to slight anyone else, the ONLY reason I ever watched Nascar. Growing up I had a lot of interests but for some reason racing wasn't one of them. However, one day, while shopping in a mall, I made my way to the TV/Stereo section of a Sears and noticed a group of men huddled around a big screen TV. Curiousity got the better of me, and I decided to see what was up. It was a Nascar event. For some reason, I decided to stay and watch. And it was great! Dale got accessed a 15-second penalty, then got slapped with a one-lap penalty for "rough driving" (he wasn't called "The Intimidator" for nothing), but still came back to win the race! It was definitely one of the coolest things I'd ever seen in sports! Earnhardt had what I call the "warrior's spirit." He liked to win, plain and simple! That was what made me like him so much. My personal philiosophy about competing, is "There is no 2nd place!" Dale was the same, he wanted to win, he liked to win, so he raced to win! He will always be, in my mind, the greatest driver I ever saw!
