Entry #55 Friday, Febuary 13th, 2004. The streak is over! My FreeCell streak that is. I guess I jinxed myself by talking about it in my last entry because soon thereafter, BAMM!, I lost. The final tally, 577 wins in a row. Not too shabby I guess. I did get a lot of questions asking me how long it took me to win that many games. And while I don't know exactly how long it took, it did take a while. But keep in mind, I have a lot of free time on airplanes where there isn't really a lot to do, seeing as how my Mile High Membership is already at full credit (just kidding) so most of those games were played in flight. I was also told by more than one person that you can actually cheat at the game if you turn your computer off before the game ends. To those people I ask,"Why would you even make the effort to cheat at FreeCell?" I mean, do you get a gold star if you win or something? :):) Anyway, there ya go, streak over, end of story. Pbbbbt. Next topic of discussion, (It's not the rap audience that's bugging), sorry for that obscure rap reference, but recently while updating the Appearance section of my website, more specifically, the listing of US states that I've wrestled in, I realized that I may have actually wrestled in 49 states as opposed to only the 46 listed. My reason for thinking this is that I starting keeping track of where I wrestled when I first entered WCW. Wrestling in the indy's pretty much kept me on the East Coast, so other than my one trip to Germany, it was fairly easy to just remember where I had been. But, with WCW taking me cross-country ever week, I decided I needed to keep notes of where I had been. However, after falling several weeks behind in about my 3rd month I abandoned that project, which to this day I have regretted. But since coming to the WWE I have recorded every single city, state, country, continent that I have wrestled in, and that is where the 46 states that I have listed come from. The only four that I haven't visited (while with the WWE) are Alaska, New Hampshire, South Dakota, and Wyoming. So with the exclusion of Alaska, where I know have never been, there is a possibility that I have wrestled in the other 3 while with WCW. So if anyone reading this is from one of those 3 states and you remember seeing me live or know of a WCW show that I was on in one of these states, please let me know. I think it would just be a cool thing to say, that you have wrestled in all of the United States. But now switching to the international scene, I must say that our recent trip to Japan was simply an awesome tour! The travel was no day in the park (I mean how can a super-hero get jet lag?) but once we got there it was incredible. The last night in Saitama will go down as one of my favorite matches in my career. Finally getting a win over Christian, the creepy little bastard that he is, was just icing on the cake, it was the crowd that made this match so special. Their appreciation and energy for us, pushed us to really beat the piss out of each other and we had a really, really good match. The crowd cheered huge for The Octopus which I haven't used since my indy days, but I bet you will see on WWE TV soon (hint, hint) and they exploded for the Shining Wizard as well. For those of you that don't know, the Shining Wizard was popularized in Japan by The Great Muta, Keiji Mutoh, one of my personal all-time favorites. While my version is modified to fit my style and to add my own personal touch to it, I still honor Mutoh and the move by keeping the original name for it. If nothing else, the WWE has provided me with some really great experiences. In ShaneHelms.com related news, it seems that "The Fandom" section, recently renamed to "The Citizens" section is now the major attraction to this site. Other than these blabbering commentaries of course. :) Also, the Q and A section seems to be doing well. I've received a ton of questions that (I guess) need to be answered, some silly, some even sillier, and I will get to them as time allows. And ladies please quit with the girlfriend questions. LOL When it comes to my love life, if you ain't in it, do you really need to know about it? Unless of course you're applying for a position (pun intended). And if that is the case then at least send a resume with photo attachments. :) JUST KIDDING! Not really! In news totally unrelated to anything, I'm convinced that turtles can move really fast but that they just don't want to. I think they're like, "F&ck it, we been here since the dinosaurs, why rush?" But I could be wrong. As always, be sure to check out the Merchandise Section, because crime doesn't pay and crime fighting pays even less, so help a hero out! :):) Well, that's all for now, until next time, Stay cool.
