Entry #54 Thursday, January 8th, 2004.

Well, well, well . . . 2004! How uuuuu doing?

First off, I want to thank everyone that sent me Christmas Gifts over the holidays. Thank you very much. I figure that I must have some kind of "dirt" on Santa Claus, because I got waaaaay more than I deserved this year. To be honest I didn't even ask for anything, because I assumed that I'd been so bad last year that it would have just been a waste of breath. But alas, I guess I that was just so "good" at being "bad" that it kinda evened out. Ya heard? Yeah, whatever. :)

Anyway, I've had about a ton of email's asking me about my New Year's Resolution this year, and my answer has been pretty much the same to everyone, my resolution is to always try and make the upcoming year better than the last in ALL aspects of my life. Not to just quit a bad habit, or something small like that, but to improve myself physically, mentally, to be a better person, to make more ciz-ash, to do something (whatever it may be) that I've always wanted to do but haven't yet. To do what it takes to make Shane and all the things in his little Shane World better for him. Because no matter what people say, no one will look after you (yeah I'm talking to you) better than you will yourself. Not necessarily words of wisdom, but they work for me.

So how was 2003 for me? Well, I would have to call it a successful year. Got to work against the WWE World Champion Triple H, as well as recording pins on Chris Jericho, Ric Flair and The Rock on my Hurri-resume. Not too shabby for a young buck from Smithfield, NC! Speaking of Smithfield, they honored me this year by having me be the Grand Marshall in their Christmas Parade. Now I know that may seem small in comparison to the New York Macy's Day Parade that I was in last year, and of course it didn't come with the "perks" and "sites" of being on a Mardi Gras float but it was still a really great experience. And thanks to all my hometown "Citizens" for coming out. Wait, I don't mean "coming out" coming out, I meant coming out to see me. You know what I mean!!

Now I would love to do an "Year in Review" thing here, but hell, I can barely remember what happened last week much less what happened 12 months ago, so with that in mind, let's just keep things moving along here.

I've also received a few email's regarding a recent episode of Confidential where both Lance Storm and Christian talk about the "Rules of the Road." Well as some of you may or may not know, Lance, Christian and I usually ride together about 99% of the time. So allow me to take this opportunity to define our relationship, as it may be. Lance is the "Dad" of the group, without a doubt. It's not really an age thing, although that could be taken into consideration (LOL), it's more that Lance is always on time, he usually has our route and driving directions mapped out (and printed out on paper) has already picked out hotels and restaurants that we will eat at, things like that. He's a stickler for the rules, if either Christian or I am over 2 minutes late for anything, Lance is on the phone inquiring to our whereabouts. And he's actually grounded Christian on several occasions. Good ole Dad!

Christian on the other hand, is by default the big brother. And me? I'm pretty sure that I'm just kept around for the entertainment. :)

Next order of business, since I spoke of the GLORY website in my last Chronicle, I received several request to look at other sites and see what wrestling names I like on there. So this time, I will speak on the Diverse Diva's Website. Now I must also say, that all I'm talking about is names that, for whatever reason, I find funny or interesting. It has nothing to do with this person's talents or whether I think they are gonna be big stars one day. Hell for all I know, they may absolutely suck. This is merely about there names/gimmicks. Yada yada, here we go! The names I like are Allison Danger (very cool), Annie Social (awesome, LOL), Cassy Strayter (took me a second to get that one), Desire (oooh baby), Dana Dameson, Duchess Dynamite (In my head I can hear her saying "Duchess Dynamite" like how JJ Evans use to say "Kid Dy-no-mite!" on "Good Times"), Echelon, Jalah (cuz it sounds like J-Lo), Jodi X, Jungle Grrrl, Nykol, Rio Storm, Talia, and last but not least, Victorious Secret, (love that one).

Now here's a question for you, I am currently on a 547 game winning streak playing FreeCell, a game that comes with all current versions of MicroSoft Windows. So, does that mean I'm smart for winning that many games in a row, or that I'm retarded for playing that many games to begin with? But before you answer, try your hand at your own winning streak!

If you haven't seen "Return of the King" go see it! The Lord of the Rings Trilogy is now my favorite movie series of all time. The books were just great, and the movies really do honor Tolkien's vision about as close as possible. Great stuff.

Before I go, here's a cool little bit of news, I ran into Bubba Sparxx in the ATL airport recently. I can't remember the date, but it was the day after the most recent RAW from Tampa, FL. And I only remember that because I ended up getting delayed in Tampa the next morning which actually turned out for the best anyway. So there I was in ATL when I was approached by this cat named DJ Scientist. Now I can't remember if I ever mentioned it on here or not, but I ran into this guy along with The Ying Yang Twins, who he was touring with at the time, in my airport about a year ago. We were all on the same flight and pretty much BS'ed and talked the entire flight. Those guys were funny as hell. Anyway, DJ and I still stay in touch through email's and stuff like that. Well, at this time, DJ was touring with Bubba, who I'm a big fan of so DJ went and got Bubba and introduced us. Of course he's a wrestling fan, who isn't, so that day turned out really cool. And if you haven't listened to Bubba's music, check it out, it's hot.

And while you're at it, check out the pic of me with NBA All-Star Tim Duncan in the Gallery.

And then check out my new Winter Hurricane shirt in the Merchandise Secition. Shameless plizzle for shizzle.

Well, that's all for now, until next time,
Stay cool.
