Entry #46 Wednesday, October 30th, 2002. And begin! Well I hope that everyone saw the live edition of Sunday Night HEAT before the last No Mercy PPV as I finally, finally, finally, used the VerteBreaker on WWE TV! I've been dying to hit that for quite some time and I was extremely pleased at the reaction it got! So now maybe all the email's I get every single day about bringing that move back (lol) will cease for a while. :) Speaking of email's, I do try to answer when I can. I currently have just under 2000 in my INBOX, no lie! I'll be honest, I won't answer them all, probably won't even get close, but I do read every single one I get, and I reply to different ones when I can! Hurri-Tidbit! On Saturday, Oct 19th 2002 I worked my 200th match with the WWE! Whoo-hoo! Now speaking of Hotcakes (who, what?) the Hurri-Cape and Hurri-Mask have been selling extremely well, and I've seen more than a few at house shows recently. The WWE has also released a Youth-Sized Hurricane shirt for kids too. I know that I'm gonna pop huge if some kid shows up at my door this Halloween dressed up as me. LOL A whole bunch of the boys (more insider wrestling lingo, pbbbbt) went to see Jackass: The Movie recently. My thoughts are that it's not something I'd see twice, but it's worth seeing once. There are some funny moments, but they are balanced out by some sick stuff too. So, view at your own discretion. And that's about as political as I can be. LOL I want to remind everyone that I will be doing an Autograph Session at the Meriden Square Mall in Meridan, CT this Friday, November 1st from 4-6pm. Jeff Hardy and Victoria will also be there! A few days later in Boston, MA, I will be joining Kane, Spike, and Al Snow at a Smackdown Your Vote! rally at Northeastern University's Krentzman Quad at 12 noon! Catch us if ya can! 3Count NEWS! I had a chance to talk to Evan Karagias the last time the WWE was in Los Angeles. He seems to be doing pretty well, still wrestling and sporting more abs than anyone on the planet. LOL We reminisced a bit about our WCW run, we did have a lot of fun, and we both talked about how people still bring up 3Count almost a full 2 years later! I guess they just can't get us out of their hearts! LOL Check Evan out at www.evankaragias.com! Now, Shannon as some of you know, is taking the big plunge very soon! He's getting married. And he thinks wrestling is dangerous! But I wish him all the best, and hopes of happiness too! And speaking of mistakes (lol) I need to make sure that my comic fans know that the Captain Marvel that I was referring to in my last Diary Entry, when I said that Captain Marvel sucks, was the DC version, and not the Marvel version! Because the Marvel version of Captain Marvel was my first favorite character even before the all-mighty Green Lantern. I know that people that don't read comics are like, "What the hell is he talking about now?" Well, don't worry your little heads, my comic peeps understand! Knowimean? And speaking of comics I have to bring up a rumor that The Torch recently published that said something to the effect of: "The Hurricane has some heat in the lockerroom since his move to Raw. He is a big fan of comics, as is Raw head writer Brian Gewirtz. The two have been seen talking about comics and this rubs other wrestlers the wrong way. Besides his relationship with Gewirtz, Hurricane is known for being quiet and keeping to himself in the lockerroom, which sometimes can seem as unfriendly and offputting. Credit: Pro Wrestling Torch Newsletter" Now, we in the scientific community have a term for this. It is called "Bovine Defecation." In layman's terms, that would be "Bull$#h!t!" I am flattered that the Torch finds me newsworthy, but this? LOL Please tell me, you don't seriously believe this? And you have to believe it or why else would you print it? I mean, you wouldn't print something that you might think is incorrect would you? Is this a Newsletter or a Rumorletter? You actually think that anyone would care that I read or talk about comics to my friends? Does that include Edge, Raven, or Al Snow? Uh-oh, Jericho went with me to a comic store last week, maybe he'll have "heat" now too! And come to think of it, I was talking with Hulk Hogan about a comic book shirt he was wearing once. Hope no one saw that! And I did just call RVD today to let him know that his favorite comic book character, Ghost Rider, is in a new book, but don't tell anyone because I don't want to get Rob in trouble! And not that it's anyone's business, but when I do talk to the aforementioned head writer, it is always very brief and 9 times out of 10 wrestling related. But if it is comic related, that might, just might, be because my character is a Super-Hero! Coincidence much? And as for being quiet? LOL, That's me right? The guy with the green hair that runs around dressed up like a superhero? Well trust me on this, if I do have any kind of heat whatsoever, you can bet you last dollar that it isn't from being too quiet! LOL I have a tendency to wear my heart on my sleeve. And when your heart is into something, sometimes the passion is hard to hide. And if you don't understand that, then there's no need for me to even try to explain. Now, the optimist in me hopes that this was just an honest mistake or at least just a bad judgment call, but to be honest, I have too much fun doing what I do to let some keyboard warrior try to bring me down, and that's all that this was. Someone trying to hurt someone else for absolutely no reason. You know, maybe if you guys read more comics, you wouldn't be so negative about everything! LOL And begin! Now everyone have a Happy Halloween!!!!! Until next time, Shane |
