 The Life and Times of Shane Helms Entry #31 Saturday, Dec. 9th, 2000. What's up Addicts? First off, The Shane Asylum has been receiving a huge amount of hits lately. It's always been a pretty busy website, but recently it's popularity has really soared. The amount of email has soared, and the amount of "snail" mail that I get has also soared. It was actually a challenge to even read the last stack of mail I got! But, as I've said numerous times before, as long as I'm able, I (and only I) will try my best to read everything that is sent to me! Now, as for Shane Helms news, be sure to check out Starrcade "The Grand Daddy of them All" to see 3 Count take on The Jung Dragons and The Rejects, um, excuse me, Noble and Courageous (Golly, now that's a cool name!). "Hey Jamie, try not to get too frustrated with Evan! lol" This particular match will be a Triple Ladder Match with the winner being deemed the #1 Contender to the WCW Cruiserweight Title, currently held by Chavo Guerrero Jr., who is in my opinion one of the most underrated performers in wrestling today! As for Nitro, for those of you who don't already know, it will be on Tuesday this week instead of Monday! So be sure to make that adjustment! The OMEGA reunion show was a blast, even though we were wrestling in a ring that could actually be compared to a deathtrap! "I thought that FMW had the trademark on Death Matches!" (C'mon Thomas, you know everyone was complaining, I was just the front-man! Haha lol) Anyway, it was so good to see my old friends again, such as The Gemini Kid, Rich, Joey & Christian, Corino (and Cathy), Cee-Dub, Cham Pain, Lodi, Foxy, Aaron Decker, Bison, Rick Michaels, The Duke, even you Thomas, :) and everyone else. (I always unintentionally forget people. Oops!) Not to mention, some really devoted fans traveled great distances to see the show, so hats off to them as well! Speaking of my boy C.W. Anderson, he just got the biggest win of his career recently at ECW's last PPV by beating Tommy Dreamer! Way to go bro! Comics of the week are: JLA: Act of God [DC], The Authority #21 [DC/WildStorm], and Crisis on Infinite Earths TPB [DC]. Movie of the week is Chasing Amy! Great movie, which was actually a gift from a sweet little Sugar Addict named Melissia! Speaking of gifts, I need to thank Carol (very nice), Mark (thanks bro), Laura Mack (awesome as always), Tanika (sweet sounds) and Tina (I've heard great things about that movie, thanks)!
