Diary of a Serial Thriller
The Life and Times of Shane Helms

Entry #29 Saturday, Nov. 11th, 2000.

What's up Addicts?

First off, I want to wish a speedy recovery to ECW's "Sinister Minister," who suffered an injury in a freak accident backstage at ECW's last PPV. I've been friends with Vandenberg for over a year now, and he is one hilarious individual! So, get well Vandy!

I did show up backstage at the ECW PPV to see some good friends of mine. C.W. Anderson, Joey & Christian, Corino (congrats bro!), and Chilly Willy just to name a few. It was my first meeting with Tommy Dreamer, and he is a class act all the way! It was also cool to hang out with fellow comic-mark Nova, and to meet all of the other guys. I had a great time hanging out!

As for WCW stuff, I thought that 3Count had a pretty good match at Nitro. It was my first time dealing with Jindrak and O'Haire, and let me tell you, O'Haire is even stronger than he looks! And even though Evan cost us the match, it was pretty apparent that 3Count had the champs beat! That's why Evan had to pay on Thunder!

If anyone has a copy of the magazine "Body Slam" (or is it "Power Slam?") with Chyna on the cover, and if it sells in your area, please pick me up a copy. There is a pro-Shane Helms review of Fall Brawl in it that I was told about, and I would like to read it. Thanks in advance!

Everyone needs to check out WCWLive on www.wcw.com as I have been on the show pretty frequently in the last two months. It's hosted by "The Man Without Fear" Bob Ryder and "The Mad Commentator" Jeremy Borash. Most of the time we are just goofing, but we do talk wrestling, and it is a fun time either way!

Seen Charlie's Angels just the other day, and I don't quite recall the TV show being so cheesy. Maybe I was just to young to remember? But the action was good, and Drew (whew!) in that racing suit was . . . . . off the charts HOT!

Seems like The Asylum is drawing in a lot of comic book fans recently, and almost everyone asks what do I read? Well, this week's (I'm actually going to try to make my Diary Entry's a weekly event) recommendations are: Merv Pumpkinhead: Agent of Dream [DC/Vertigo], The Punisher [Marvel], Planetary [DC/Wildstorm], Static Shock: Rebirth of the Cool [DC/Milestone], and The Sentry [Marvel]. These all absolutely rocked!

And speaking of rocking, I picked up Everlast's new CD "Eat at Whitey's" and loved it!

Also, I've almost got enough questions sent in to do a second "Question and Answer." So if anyone has got any other questions for me, get them in quick.

That's all for now, see ya later,
Sugar
