![]() The Life and Times of Shane Helms Entry #13 Thursday, January 27th, 2000. What's up Inmates? First of all, I want to let everyone know that I'm ok, and while I did get hurt on Thunder, I am fine now and I will still be on Nitro this Monday. Just remember, they don't call those moves "high-risk" for nothing! As for why I haven't posted anything new in a while, well I am currently stranded in Las Vegas! It seems that Mother Nature decided that since it hasn't snowed in NC for about 2 decades (well, maybe a centimeter here and there) that she would make up for lost time and just drop a haymaker of snow on my home state. That being the case, my airport is closed so I can't get home. But on the bright side of things, there are worse places to be stranded than Las Vegas, right guys? Haha! So I hope that everyone has been catching 3 Count (not Three Count!!!!) on Nitro, Thunder and WCW Saturday Night! I think that we have been putting on some good performances and while some might not appreciate the singing and dancing, most everyone agrees that 3 Count is the new "dynamic" in WCW. Speaking of WCW, I want to wish the guys who decided to seek employment elsewhere all the best as I was friends with them and I hate to see them go. Pro Wrestling is indeed a reflection of modern American life! And you have to be able to turn negatives into positives to be successful. These guys always have and I believe they always will! Good luck guys! But WCW carries on! So while some might be upset at these departures, don't give up on the whole company as WCW still has a lot of guys who go out night after night and bust their ass to please the fans! Next, I want to thank David Arquette and Courtney Cox for dinner Monday night. It's always cool to hang with those two, as they are so down to earth! Courtney is an angel and David is just as funny in real life as he is on-screen. Studio 54 in Las Vegas was the place to be on Tuesday Night after the Thunder taping! As a matter of fact the whole MGM Grand Hotel was the place to be that night. I had a blast there! Now, I hate to end on a sad note, but I want to offer my condolences to the family of Bobby Duncam Jr. Bobby was a friend and it saddens me that he is gone. So until we meet again, goodbye Bobby D! That's all for now, see ya later, Shane Helms |
